EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR & PRODUCER

Stacey L. Holman has won numerous awards for shorts and feature films. She directed three-award winning films two of which, Mirar Mirror and Girl Talk, received national and International recognition.

Currently, she is editing her feature-length documentary in South Africa, Dressed Like Kings, which is the recipient of the 2004 Tribeca Film Festivals Creative Promise Award. She is one of six NYU Grad Alumni’s whose short has been included in the feature length film, 6 Things I Never Told You. Other directing credits include: Mother’s Day, Lumiette and Refugee Survivor.

Recognized for her work in both Essence and Vibe Magazine Ms. Holman has also produced and directed a mental illness and AIDS Awareness PSA, and two pilot television shows The Hot Sports Show a reality show recognizing sports fanatics and the comedy Dating Miss Dillard.

Other accolades include: the Martin Scorsese Post-Production Award and the Warner Brothers Pictures Post-Production Award. She was a 1998 finalist for the IFFM Gordon Parks Award. Her work has screened at Nantucket Film Festival, Harlem Film Festival, Urban World, and the International Film Festival Rotterdam to name a few.

She received her M.F.A from the graduate film program at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts and her B.A in Communications at Dillard University in New Orleans, LA.
